Flexible Qualification Delivery – Wherever You Are

Our regulated qualifications offer flexible study through Moodle or a paper-based portfolio, with assessor support throughout. Practical qualifications may also require workplace evidence.

How Will I Study?

Most learners study through Magpie Training’s Moodle e-learning platform, with access to learning resources, assessment activities, feedback and assessor support. Alternatively, learners can complete a paper-based portfolio where appropriate.

Can I Study from Anywhere in the UK?

Yes. Magpie Training can support learners nationally through online learning and regular assessor contact. Written work, professional discussions and other suitable evidence can be completed remotely. Where a qualification requires practical workplace competence, appropriate workplace evidence will also be required.

What If My Assessor Cannot Observe Me in Person?

Where the qualification and awarding organisation allow it, an approved expert witness may provide evidence for relevant practical assessment criteria. The expert witness must be suitably experienced and occupationally competent and must directly observe the learner’s practice. Your Magpie Training assessor remains responsible for assessing the evidence and making the final assessment decision.
