Our Emergency First Aid at Work training helps learners recognise medical emergencies and provide immediate assistance until professional help arrives.
First, our experienced trainers introduce the responsibilities of a workplace first aider and explain how to assess an emergency safely.
Next, learners explore essential lifesaving techniques, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), defibrillator use and managing an unresponsive casualty.
Throughout the course, practical demonstrations and supervised activities help participants develop confidence in responding to common workplace injuries and emergencies.
In addition, learners explore the importance of effective communication, personal safety and accurate incident reporting.
As a result, participants gain practical skills that can help protect colleagues, customers and members of the public.
Who Is This Course For?
This course is suitable for employees, supervisors and designated workplace first aiders across a wide range of industries, including health and social care, construction, hospitality and office environments.
No previous first aid experience is required.

Learners practise emergency response techniques using suitable training equipment, including resuscitation mannequins and AED trainers.
Furthermore, realistic workplace scenarios help participants develop confidence and apply their knowledge in emergency situations.

Assessment and Certification
Our trainers assess learners through practical demonstrations, emergency scenarios and knowledge checks.
Participants must demonstrate the required knowledge and practical skills to complete the course successfully.
Upon successful completion of the training, each learner will receive a certificate issued by Magpie Training Ltd.
Employers can then use these certificates as evidence of completed staff training. They can also support continuing professional development (CPD) records.
